Ingredients for 2/3 servings
500g minced meat (lamb, beef or chicken) 250g frozen or fresh garden peas 2 medium onions sliced 5 cloves of garlic (minced) 1 ½ in fresh ginger (minced) 1 tbsp coriander powder 1 tsp cumin ½ tsp chilli powder ½ tsp turmeric Heaped tsp Garam Masala powder 1 tbsp tomato puree Chopped green chilli (optional) 4 tbsp oil Salt to taste Fresh Coriander to garnish.

Method
1. Heat the oil in a pan over a medium heat, add the onion, garlic, ginger and salt to taste. Cook until onion is soft (about 5 mins) 2. Add the remaining dry spices and the tomato puree, cook until the oil rises to the top, add some water if becomes too dry 3. Add the minced meat and cook on high for 4-5 minutes. Add the green chilli if using 4. When meat is cooked add the peas and cook until they are ready approx 4 mins 5. Garnish with fresh chopped coriander This dish goes very well with chapati, paratha or rice.
