Sarah Ali-Choudhury was one of seven finalist in the 2017 Tommy Miah’s International Chef of the Year Competition.  Above she is receiving an award from HRH The Princess Royal at the award ceremony held at the Awards dinner in the ILEC Conference Centre in Fulham, London.

“Tommy Miah’s International Indian Chef of the Year was a really tough competition.  We had to cook at Billingsgate Training School in London, organise the food in Tiffins, travel to Kings Cross and board the Virgin First Class train to York where we served 9 judges on the train.    Being awarded Finalist and receiving my award from HRH The Princess Royal made me feel on top of world! “said Sarah
The winner of Tommy Miah’s International Indian Chef Competition 2017 was Milon Miah of Spice Island Restaurant in Barnard Castle, Durham.
